My challenge over at CCEE Stampers this week is old-school colour-blocking with coloured and patterned paper, rather than using ink to create blocks. I was inspired by a conversation over in the forums earlier this year and some of the links it led me to, in particular this early (2006!!] TLC49 - Be a Blockhead.
A2 black base. I used Sizzix Little Sizzles papers, and most of the stamps are In Full Bloom, though I also used the flourish from Baroque Motifs for tone-on-tone stamping on the deep pink/red panels.
Images stamped on white card, coloured with distress inks (Stickles on bee's wings) and sponged with Antique Linen.
