This week our cards are headed off to Trent. He is the brother of Tina, aka TMD here on SCS. Trent served 23 years in the Navy, working on the electronics of planes and helicopters. After retiring from the Navy, Trent decided to take some time for himself, to see family and friends, before looking for another job. Long story short, Trent has cancer and is going through chemo.
Trent loves and grows orchids, always on the search for the next big orchid find.
These flowers are not orchids and there's no plane like the teapot. I have neither of these items in my supply. I do have this Honeyblossom sprig that works up pretty nicely. Put it in this vase and I can make believe that it's an orchid. Whether you can see it in this photo or not, there is a yellow center and a little lavender in the throat.
I wish Trent all the strength and endurance to battle this disease and to enjoy his retirement as fully as he can. I also say "Thank you" to Trent, for his dedication and service to our country!

Beautiful flowers for Trent! Jennifer, they may not be Orchids, but they are so VERY pretty! I LOVE your fancy vase die! Your sentiment hung up like a picture is wonderful, everything makes such a fantastic indoor scene!

This is the rarest orchid of all, no one has ever seen this species before. You can be sure all the collectors will be out trampling all over your garden searching for this. That was very clever to tint this with the coloration of the story.

Jennifer, this is a fantastic card. You put so much love into your MMTPT cards...the recipient HAS to be thrilled. Love this indoor scene with the flowers in the pretty die cut vase down to the chair rail(baseboard) and the picture framed sentiment.
