This week, Bridget announced the feature stamper; housefullofcards (Heather). I was not familiar with Heather's gallery and it was a delight to go thru! I needed to make a birthday card TODAY! Now, I know some of you extremely talented ladies can whip out a card in minutes! (Liz But I am either slow or...SQUIRREL!...easily distracted! LOL
I LOVE this card that Heather made with the chalkboard technique: Easter Chalkboard by housesbuiltofcards at Splitcoaststampers
I kept her same basic layout, just truned the card and same design element (chalkboard panel). But here comes the cheater in me...
When I was at Staples, I saw the Martha Stewart section and she has these plain chalkboard labels out! The back already has adhesive too. YAY! I added the doodles cardstock stickers that say "happy birthday" and only stamped the balloons with white ink. So easy!
I used a heart shaped doily and the DP is a fabric textured cardstock by First Edition. The twine is from Irene (oh thank you again, I am using items all the time!) and the button is vintage.
Hubby already took this to the post office and it is on its way to California. Heather, thank you for inspiring me...TODAY!!!
