The first step was to stamp the SweetStamps image with Stazon black because it’s waterproof and Copic markers were very gently applied to avoid smearing – touch the marker to paper and do not blend like you normally would.
A layer of Faber Castell Gelatos was applied by first applying it to a craft sheet then using a brush and water to color the card.
Over that went Ranger Distress Inks applied with a sponge applicator and acrylic paints using a scrunched up piece of a plastic shopping bag.
Next I stenciled on some shapes using the paint in the upper right which is slightly visible and ink on the left side then added more white paint to mute it down in color.
Distress ink was applied to the script are then a brush with water and gelatos was used to fill in the remaining open space around the image.
The Flourish Medallion die was cut in half for the piece on the top edge and the other half was cut down for the piece on the right edge. Spun Sugar distress ink was applied and AleeneÂ’s tacky glue was used to attach to the card.
