For Lydia's Mix-Ability challenge this week! The challenge is to make a mixed media project on a white surface (canvas, cardstock) where you only finish part of a stamped or sketched image.
I masked the Dahlia image from Impression Obsession, and collaged all around it, using spray paint (got a new can, woohoo!), Colorbox chalk ink and Versafine ink, and more IO stamps that were already out on my desk. Sponged a little through drywall tape, too. The last thing I did was to shade with a dark pencil right around the edge of the flower, to make it pop and cover up the 'halo' where my mask was just a teeny bit off.

I have looked at this and looked at this. I thought at first glance the dahlia had to be fussy cut. The depth you created is awesome!
