I used paper I got from Target that is loaded with glitter. So much glitter that I had to clean the table. I love this stamp company and I tried to color the card the way the stamp looked. The only change was I did the flowers in multi colors. The stamp has them in one color. I used crayons and colored pencils for coloring. I added the butterflies and I like how the flower brads look. I know you can see a slight mistake but I am hoping the my mom's friend didn't notice.

Cute card! I like the multi-colored flowers. Mistake? Where? LOL When I was little, my mother taught me to cross-stitch. She always made me take out any mistakes and stitches that crossed the wrong way. All except for one - she said always leave in one mistake/happy accident for good luck.
I didn't think of using the glitter paper either at first. I make and sell my greeting cards at fairs among other things so my mom bought the card from me. I wanted my mom's friend to be impressed and that's when I remembered that paper from the dollar part of Target. 2 big pieces for 99 cents! I can get 4 cards out of it. What a deal! I love glitter, sparkly things and colors as you can tell by the card. There are no butterflies on the stamp but someone sent me these cute tiny butterflies in a card swap & I thought I would use them. As for that tiny mistake, I figured she wouldn't notice once you see all the other stuff going on. My mom didn't or she would have said something. I like the idea of leaving one small mistake for good luck. I will have to remember that if it happens again. I am so excited that so many people like this card! It's one of my faves.
Your welcome! I'm glad you liked it. I am a stamp fanatic! I have a ton and am always buying more. It's an addiction and I need help! Rehab anyone? LOL My mom is a knitter and they have an amazing knitting stamp that I bought. I'll have to send that one too.
