This week the SweetStamps challenge is to use parchment/vellum paper to create a Christmas card and this is my card for the challenge.
The image is heat embossed using White Fine Detail embossing powder. Colored with water based markers and dry embossed only on the light green area staying away from the white embossing.
The background dots/snowflakes were dry embossed using a metal template.
Spellbinder Nestabilities was used to cut the window then I attached the vellum to the back side and left a margin wide enough to attach to white cardstock.
The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the1/16” red border and was popped up with foam tape.
The Cheery Lynn holly leaves were cut from vellum and colored with water based markers and wiped with a paper towel. The SweetStamps Elegant Leaves was cut apart and tucked under the vellum. I used AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze to attach them. The brads are from The Paper Studio.
