Happy Tuesday everyone. Here is my card for this weeks Teapotter Teaparty.
This week our destination is San Luis Obispo, Califor-ni-yay. If you would like a destination for your card, how about Evelyn. Evelyn is the mother of SCSer Mymountainhome . Evelyn is an avid and very accomplished quilter and we want to help her to celebrate her 100th Birthday!!! Her birthday is July 17th.
Here is the link to our teaparty. I hope you will come on over and join the party and help Evelyn celebrate her 100th birthday - woo hoo.
Here is the patchwork quilt card I made for Evelyn. I received this adorable Magnolia image from Carolyn Bounds a few years ago and I am very happy to use it today. I used five different designer papers to make the patchwork quilt. Used my 1" square punch, sponged all the edges of the squares with rose red. Assembled the patchwork design and zig zag stitched all the squares. Coloured the little girl with copic markers. The lamb was supposed to be white and highlighted with grey - but I didn't like how it looked - so that is why I coloured it grey... I made Tilda's quilt with fabric - frayed the edges, matted the quilt with rose red and yellow cardstock and then quilted the mini quilt that Tilda is relaxing on with her little lamb. I stamped the birthday sentiment onto Vellum with memento black ink and clear embossed. Sewed it onto the quilt. Added the mini butterflies and button brads. Tilda is popped up as well as the quilted panel.
Thanks for looking.
Hugs..Pat
P.S. this is also for the Ways to Use it challenge - WT432 - very versatile vellum
Plus this will work for Friday's Mixability challenge MIX23 - multisurface (3 or more) I have cards stock, vellum, fabric, designer papers (8 layers deep)

Wow, all the details in this are so perfect. A beautiful card.
(I used one of the House Mouse images you tickled me with on my card. It was perfect for this challenge -- thank you)

Oh wow - I love that you added a little fabric quilt as well as the gorgeous background. I wondered about zigzag on mine - and seeing yours, I think it looks better than what I did. How neat to add the sentiment on vellum. I was thinking that's what you'd done, but I wasn't sure as it's so translucent!

I LOVE all the VERY pretty DPs and your Tilda with her lammies is so sweet! AND the fabric quilt behind dear Tilda is awesome and matches perfectly! So cool how you embossed the vellum for the sentiment too! Gosh, I just love everything!!! Amazing card for Evelyn!!!

WooHoo Miss Pat, this is perfect, wonderful, adorable, cute, pretty AND it looks beautiful sitting in My Favs. How clever to stamp sentiment on vellum, is there no end to your talent!!! Ms Evelyn is in for a heap of stunning cards, isn't it a lovely feeling to be a teapotter.
