I stamped the DRS Designs image of "Ohio Buckeye" with Marvy black dye in onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored it with Copic markers and cut around the image with detailed scissors.
I paired the image with red cardstock cut with an emerald cut (die)mond nesting die set from a jillian vance design. I paper pierced and faux stitched with a colored pencil around the "Block O" and framed with black cardstock.
I placed the Block O image and Buckeye image onto a piece of gray cardstock that I stamped randomly with DRS Designs "Lines O'Plenty" in Marvy grey dye ink.
Finishing touches on this card include Buckeye Blend Divine Twine from a jillian vance design and the sentiment (which is a portion of the "Ohio Buckeye" stamp) onto a MFT die-namic flag.
I know the challenge says flower...but I'm thinking perhaps Ohio's state tree would be allowed to join in the fun of today's WT434 challenge.

When I was a kid in Cincinnati, we would throw the buckeyes at each other on the way to school!! They are REALLY hard. I love your card with the Ohio State "O".

You are more than welcome to join in with your tree from the state of Ohio! Like the signature look of the Ohio Buckeyes card. Thanks for adding a little Ohio trivia for us today. Happy 4th.

I like the way you used the big O as well as your state tree. This is one of the cards that really jumped out of the gallery when I took a quick peek earlier.

I love the eye-catching look of this! Great job incorporating the school letter with the buckeyes. DH and I just returned from Ohio - visiting Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - we had a great time in your state : )

Great job fellow Buckeye !!! Block O is fantastic....
Totally works for me. You can't live 10 miles away from the OSU campus and Horseshoe and not be a Buckeye fan... ha ha

What an awesome card! Love your details and the stitching which makes it look like the O should be on a jacket. Ohio is my home state and love seeing others who live here.
