Today in the USA we are celebrating 237 years of independence & freedom. I chose to incorporate 3 challenges in today's card - CC433, SC443, & WT434.
WT434 - State Flower Trivia
The Ohio state flower is the Scarlet Carnation. It was chosen as the state flower in memory of President William McKinley. He was given a scarlet carnation by his opponent during his campaign for the Presidency. He was the 25th President & one of 7 Presidents from Ohio. President McKinley was assassinated while in office in 1901. FF was the closest look of a carnation that I have.
SC443 - I flipped the sketch so to not cover all of the Darice fireworks ef.
CC433 - Use Red/White/Blue with a desser option of patriotic. I used the Star & Stripes efs. After embossing the stripes I used the white ink pad to the raised stripes.
Have a safe holiday to my US fellow stampers. Here in NE Ohio it is raining - indoor picnics today!
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. I'll be back later to comment.

------------------------------ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
