Today's challenge is to make a card using your state flower. Gonna be one mighty pretty gallery.
I live in Pennsylvania (see the sentiment die? Cute, eh?) and our state flower is Mt. Laurel. I have attached a small photo of a real laurel to show you.
This was a fun, interesting challenge....now, speaking of flowers...mine are yelling at me "Come and weed!!!" Have a great day!

First your card is divine with your state flower. This flower is new to me....beautiful. Thanks for adding so much to the gallery today. Those darn weeds never stop growing! Happy 4th.

I love mountain laurel. We have a big bushy plant that was here 35 years ago when we bought this house. It has grown some since then, but I'm surprised it isn't even bigger! The flowers are indeed pink, and so showy when they bloom. Alas, ours are done for this year! Beauty of a card showing them off, Vicky ..... and it's too HOT to weed! Happy 4th!

Thanks for including the photo of the mountain laurel, Vicky! Some of the other flowers I've been familiar with, but not this one! It looks as if you've captured it perfectly with your great colouring, and I love all the greens in the background.
