As I was curious what would be the Belgium flower ... I looked it up and it is the Common Red Poppy. Growing everywhere in fields and waste places. The animal is the Tower Falcon.
The background PP that I used for my card is ”Life In The Country” from Maja design called " Flower meadow".
The images are from Kars ( picturel 0541 )
I used red ribbon with black dots because of the flower and the ladybug.

Thanks for adding this beautiful card in the challenge today. The bg paper and your images are beautiful. Your information on Belgium's flower being the poppy is fantastic. Like learning new facts about places. So glad you played in the challenge.

Monique, this is so beautiful! I love the summer time look of the background paper and the wonderful scene of blooming poppies.....such a beautiful flower. Reminds me of the song written by a Canadian from Guelph (about 18 km from where I live) that is entitled 'In Flander's Fields'. I love the larger poppy on the inset too! A beautiful card!

What pretty paper with the poppies and, I guess, cornflowers. Reminds me of wheat fields in France. And as soon as I saw your card I thought of Flanders and all the poppies, so I'm not surprised it's your national flower.
