Yesterday Karen (redbugdriver) and I played with backgrounds and Kitchensink Stamps. The hydrangea background was done by inking the craft mat and smearing the paper into it then adding gesso. I randomly stamped with a text background and Tim Holtz Itty Bitty grunge stamps. The card background was created digitally by playing with color and brushes. It was then inked with Antique Linen. The panels are DP from stash also inked with Antique Linen and Aged Mahogany and hand stitched. Lace was added to the panels. I crinkled some seam binding, added the bow and attached a Tim Holtz button. The pearls were added manually since I thought they came as a sticker but found they were individual pearls. Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful soft color.....and how gorgeous this card is, Nancy! How I wish I had been there to play with you and Karen. Give her a big hug for me!

Very pretty card. I love the dp, with the clock face. I Love Your pearl flourish, and the color choices, and your image, is beautiful. I just love everything about your card. tfs.
This is gorgeous! Wow I love how you added the thin lace on the layers and the image itself is just amazing. The technique you used on it really does give it a shabby chic look. I'm going to have to read through it again to see if I can try it.
