TodayÂ’s challenge on the SweetStamps blog is roses.
The rose is six layers of the same image (linked below under images) and I cut away some of the leaves on each layer. On the very bottom layer I cut the edge of the entire rose off.
It was colored with dye ink markers using dark to light of the same color shade and after they were all applied I wiped the vellum with a paper towel from the center out and this blended the colors, they shouldnÂ’t be dry yet. The top center layer was popped up with foam tape.
The flourish is from Spellbinder and I cut apart a larger flourish to create this one.
Tools: Cuttlebug embossing folder, Quickutz shapes die,
Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the 1/16” borders. Scor-Pal for line embossing on insert and envelope
Metal ball stylus for embossing the rose,
Cheery Lynn – Olive Branch die
Stampin Up Word Window punch for sentiment.
My direct blog post shows a close up of the rose: Paper Scaper
