Last week's Ways to Use It challenge was "Very Versatile Vellum". I so rarely remember to use my vellum so made two cards for the challenge. This is the one that I think turned out better.
I had a scrap of vellum pre-printed with silver stars that was just the right size to fit behind the small arched Madison window die. I brayered a piece of cardstock with dark blue ink, then stamped and heat embossed a tree in white. Then layered the vellum on top of it, and then the window die. The vellum makes it look like a night scene as it dims everything down.
I kept with the star theme for the background paper and for two little star stickers in place of brads on the sentiment tag.
It's also for my June quota for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge.

Susan, this is so pretty. It makes me think of sitting up late on Christmas eve in the darkened living room with just the tree lights on. Love this card.
