I have a quilt that my Mom made me a few years before she passed away made from hexagons. It's not a large quilt so I use it as a tablecloth. Of course we don't eat on it but its for decoration.
This is simple but I like how it turned out. I got this beautiful dp from my local scrap/stamp store a couple of months ago. The green is my favorite green which is olive. The stamp is from Curly Cute from SU and the ef is also from SU as well as the olive ribbon. I really enjoyed making this. It made me think of my Mom.
This is for the MMTPT but will be going to another SCS'er needing a little love.
Thanks for looking.

AWE...I think it makes it even more special, when there are extra love and memories attached. I bet that is such a pretty quilt your ma-ma made...we have one too that a stepmom made for us, had it for like 20 years I bet or more and it is not real pretty in colors as just a bunch of mixed scraps, ( dont get me wrong ) still wonderful in that way but its one of those too that in the winter its like climb into bed with that and its like a big warm heavy hug...just awesome...like this pretty quilted card...the colors go so well together too...never would have thought of them together...so liking it...:0)...TFS
