My card does not appear in the gallery for some reason, so I'm going to try to upload again.
Today's challenge is to make a one-layer card. Always hard for me.
Yesterday, I had the unhappy task of taking my sister's little Yorkie to the vet to be euthanized. She was 15 years old and a real sweetie. Although I was upset, I was no where near what my sis was. Yip had a good life, was loved and loved...life was good for her and now she's across the Rainbow Bridge! We dog lovers understand!

That image is so sweet - and so representative of this happy little breed - that I chuckled a little until I read of the sad occasion. I'm so sorry... Still, I agree with Linda - great tribute!

What a precious face! Our pets are family members and always hard to say good bye. Card making is such wonderful therapy, this is beautiful in many ways.

Hugs, Vicky, that's so hard! A beloved pet is so much part of the family.
It's such a sweet stamp, perfect for a pet sympathy card, and I really like your scored checked border.

Oh my gosh Vicky, I am so sad for you and your sister. It is so painful even when you know you are doing the right thing. Your little Yorkie image is adorable and colored so realistically. You are a wonderful sister.

Oh, that must have been so hard. I lost my angel to cancer. Just couldn't take that step to the vet. Had to watch the best friend I've ever had waste away. God bless you and your sister for having the heart to do what I couldn't.

Something your sister will TRULY treasure, Vickie. A beautifully done card in every aspect...and more importantly, done with sincere love for your sister and her beloved Yip. Love of friends and family get us through times like these.

Sweet card for your sister! So sorry for the loss of her beloved Yorkie. When we lost our Yorkie, Bo, after many yrs, it was very hard on us. :( You were so kind and loving to take her to the vet to be euthanized. That is such a difficult thing to do.
