I could not resist the wonderful colors for this week's color challenge! Vicki gave us a Delightful Olive Pear with Delightful Daffodil, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz with the dessert of flowers. Normally I will slap a flower on anything not moving! LOL But not today.
Green is my favorite color and I just got this gorgeous Swallowtail stamp. Oh how I coveted it (forgive me Lord) when I saw such beautiful cards such as Sallie's: *IC390 In My Thoughts by hobbydujour at Splitcoaststampers
I colored the butterfly with Copic markers and used distress inks and sponged the background. I am thinking of spraying a little gold shimmer, but first I have some laundry to fold!
Thanks for taking a peek!

Wowie Kazowie Kathleen!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is super stunning!! I don't have this stamp as it intimidates me so...........but I have seen many lovely cards made with it, and yours ranks right up there at the top!! I love the way you sponged and it makes your wondefully colored Swallowtail take front and center.

THUD! Pick me up off the floor now ... this is so GORGEOUS! Sorry for shouting so much, but good gracious, this is stunning. I've enjoyed other creations with this big, beautiful butterfly. But I do believe this takes the cake, Kathleen! I was quite taken with the color combo today as I think it is so lovely, but refrained from playing because I only have Old Olive. You totally aced it with your fantabulous Copic coloring! (Oops, just realized that I dittoed a comment on your creation taking the cake. Wasn't being a copy cat, promise!) Wowsers times a gazillion!
