This is my card for VSN Challenge G to make a one layer card, which I always find difficult to do as I love my layers. I used a scalloped square Nestabilities as a frame to sponge my grass and clouds so it didn't look too empty and blank!

Vannessa,
Never thought of using the Nestabilities as a frame for sponging!! Great idea and it really adds to the one layer card!! I too find the one layer cards difficult! Your card really turned out super and looks like it does have layers!

Yes, you took advantage of one of the cool ways to add dimension to a one-layer card. The sponged scallop area looks great and this is a pretty scene. And you get the points for it being a summer scene. :-) Thanks for playing n my VSN challenge.

This is an adorable card - what a great idea to use the die as a mask! Great job sponging the background, I love those flowers!
