This was one of my swap cards at Milwaukee Regionals. I would have posted it sooner, but I accidentally threw my original into the swap basket and swapped out every last one!! But this morning it showed up on Stampers Showcase (woo HOO!!!!) So I copied the photo and here it is.
To create the background, use the direct to paper technique by dragging the Whisper White Craft pad over the Basic Black cardstock. Let dry. Then repeat the process with the Basic Black Classic ink pad. This is the "milk paint" technique without drawing in the boards and nails. For the flower piece, stamp the flower in Whisper White craft ink and apply the pastels with daubers (I think I've seen this called "chalkboard"). Don't use Versamark, it won't show up nearly as well, you *need* to use the white craft. Mask and stamp the word image over the flower. Canvas was stamped on the red piece with DTP with red ink over it to give it the distressed look.
