What a busy week! This card started on Tuesday and between paint drying, garden tending and work it wasn't finished for three days. It picked up a couple of extra challenges along the way.
Stamped the Flourishes image in Memento Espresso Truffle and sponged in Spun Sugar Distress Ink, Memento Desert Sand & Summer Sky and Pool Party. Matted on a Hombre Texture sheet that had been faux stitched. The barn wall BG was painted with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo crackle paint, then embossed with a TH EF inked with Espresso. I waffled about the sentiment, but Sabrina's challenge today made my decision easier (I love John Denver and especially that song). Added the jute rope, mounted all on a Neenah Natural White card.
Thank you so much Fran for a great story, Becky for a phenomenal color combination (didn't expect a man-card, did you?) and Sabrina for your inspiration. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

What a great multi-tasking card. The colours have given you a great peaceful masculine scene, I love the little lariat, too, and the woodgrain background is so perfect.
DH sings a lot of John Denver ;-).

WOW! LOVE your beautiful card! Your scene is so peaceful and I love how you have the sentiment in a nearly sky blue color too! Also, I LOVE the sentiment (now I will be singing that song!) and your background is just plain cool! Love that woodgrain , stitching and the roped twine! Awesome card!!!

Oh yah, I know just what you mean about getting a project finished ... but you rocked this one! Fabulous elements and texture. And your sentiment couldn't be more perfect. Like Kathleen, I'll have a hard time getting that song out of my head for a while! And that's not a bad thing ...
