My dad likes military history, so when my parents visited us on Okinawa in 2008, we went on the Battle of Okinawa tour, which was really interesting. So sad that so many thousands of people lost their lives. There is a beautiful place called Peace Prayer Park at the southern tip of the island, which was the last stop on our tour. I stamped the "peace" kanji from the retired set Symbols of Solicitude on the left-side page to coordinate with that. This is going in a theme album from that visit and I used the same die-cut letters on all the layouts, otherwise I would have used SU stamps or one of the newer Sizzix alphas.
ETA: I didn't think of this as color blocking with photos until Karren and Jana said so in comments So extra bonus challenge! Mostly I was trying to figure out a way to get all those photos on two 12x12 pages without cropping them much, ha!
