 | | I'm not going to try to play catch-up on all the challenges I missed while we were on holidays, but I decided I could play along with MIX17.
My smooth textures are the heat-embossed sentiment and the shrink plastic. I know Lydia counted acrylic paint under smooth, but since I painted mine over the drywall mesh tape, it's really more rough! Also rough are the microbeads and the Stickles.
A2 card base sponged with faded jeans.
Italian book page glued to card for strength and then gessoed. I stuck the mesh tape on and painted over it with white acrylic paint.
Sentiment stamped with black and embossed with clear EP.
Flower made with Pick a Petal stamped on shrink plastic and coloured from behind with a red Sharpie. I curled the petals slightly and used a circle with gold microbeads for the centre. Cherry Lynn small fanciful flourish and some gold and black Stickles finished it off. |
