I have always loved step cards, this was so much fun to make.. Thanks to our Sassy Ann for this great challenge!
As soon as I saw Cheryl's new little Maddie -Swing me a Story image. you can find her here
I had this vision for my step card.. first I had twine for the swing ropes, but I couldn't get it to be straight enough. I found some thin brass colored wire- voila- it worked perfectly, letting me place Maddie in just the right place for the scene!
The sun and branch with leaves are from the Silhouette Cameo store, the flowers are dollar punches from Michaels, the fence and grass are poppystamp dies.
The sun is cut out of white paper and sponged with several colors to add the shading, then finished off with some doodles with a fine tipped artist pen!
My coloring, as always, is prisma and faber castell colored pencils blended with gamsol!
I can't wait to see your amazing step cards, come join the fun!

Also, there is some exciting News you won't want to miss being announced this Tuesday on the Blog!
thanks for stopping by ~ hope your day is sassy and fun!
I just realized that this card also fits the color challenge.
