The main image may look like I brayered it but I am just not that good with a brayer - the brayer and I don't get on very well and I just seem to make more mess than anything else! The image came printed on a coloured acetate and all I had to do was cut it to the size I wanted.
I stamped the sentiment using Stazon Jet Black ink. At my first attempt, the sentiment didn't stamp cleanly on the acetate and I thought the sheet was ruined - but I had a brainwave and wiped the sentiment off using Stazon stamp cleaner which worked a charm - yay me! 2nd attempt at stamping worked perfectly :-)
I layered the acetate onto some white cardstock and attached them with brads - that part was a bit fiddly to get it all sitting nice and flat. You can't use glue or doublesided tape because it shows through the acetate. Then I just layered that onto black, blue and white cardstock.
The butterfly next to the sentiment also came pre-printed and I attached it using dimensionals under just the body and bent up the wings.
Although this card is for my stash, my intention would be to use it as Sympathy card or to let someone know that I care or to show support.

I hear you on the brayering! I took Zindorf's class on brayering and I still stink at it. So sad. Your creation, on the other hand, is quite delightful and I must agree to the YEAH YOU on the StazOn stamp cleaner save. Fabulous, bright creation for the gallery this evening! Love it!

What a lovely serene tranquil feeling this has - I think it will be a great sympathy card. LOL, because I have so often had to wipe acetate clean and stamp again . My other favourite tip for stamping on acetate is to use a stamp positioner to avoid any risk of "slide".
