Are you enjoying our holiday weekend. God bless all our men and women in uniform who have and are serving their country today. Their faithfulness and dedication to duty, honor, and country will never be forgotten.
I've created a card this weekend for those who dare to dream. Do you remember how you felt when you daydreamed about your first home? You allowed your heart to dream. Dreams only a heart makes. Those are God sized dreams my friends and they do come true - in His time, the perfect time. Many of my navy friends and I sat on the porches of our quarters and daydreamed together. We've all come a long way since then. So, this card is dedicated to our children who share the same dreams. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart ... But, seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be. Dare to Dream, then watch what happens.
This card is for the following challenges:
Sketch Challenge: Mojo Monday 294;
Color Challenge: CC427 (Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Marina Mist) - Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist can be seen throughout the colored image and dp, the Early Espresso can be seen on the edge of my ribbon - look on the loop and you'll see it a little better; My color were not SU but were as close as I could come.
And finally, Friday's Free for All Challenge: F4A170 - "Repeat After Me" Repeat and element (or two). I've used three flat ivory pearls.
Have a great weekend and thank you for your visit today.

My husband and I (before we owned our home) would go for walks in neighborhoods and say things like someday we will have a yard with roses like this, some day we will have a swing on the porch or in the yard, some day we will have a garden to grow vegetables... and you are right. All things come to us in their own time when we dream and visualize our future selves. This is a wonderful card Suzie...GREAT job on the mixed matching dp and LOVE that image so beautifully colored. This card is just so charming with really great elements! A fav for sure..

Sistah Suzie, I know you had to have an entire pocket full of Sugar Babies to make a card so sweet! Don't know if I like the card or the description better- both are so touching. And God does deliver, doesn't He? And far grander than our dreams! You have a beautiful soul my friend, and it's nice to take a peek of it on paper!
