This card was made for two challenges: WT427 (use flowers) and MIX16 (Glitter under glass effect).
The cardstock used for the red mat was too bright, so I sponged it with Red Brick distress ink to deepen the colour.
I stamped the blooms with Real Red ink on Very Vanilla cs; then cut them out. Next, Stickles were added for glittery flower centres. After the Stickles dried, I applied Crystal Effects (transparent lacquer). This was a multi-step process with lots of waiting in between. Since it's spring, I did some planting during the waiting steps : )
