Another card for today's Free for All - M for Mom.
I end up calling my mother both Mom and Mum because I grew up American but have lived here in the U.K./Ireland for the past 27 years. This is to thank her for all her help and encouragement, she's given me over half of my stash and equipment and is always sending things over to me. She makes the most beautiful cards and likes to glean ideas from SCS but hasn't uploaded yet. The image is Flourishes and the tag is Papertrey Ink. I watercoloured the image but I tend to overwork it, so maybe I'll head back to copics.

I don't think you overworked this, Bridget! Your colors are so bright and fun! The doily, lace and the way your did up your ribbon make this card a really special feminine creation! I love the slices of lemon on the glasses and pitcher~

How wonderfully bright yellow Bridget - love the dots and the delicious lemonade! My mother always used Mum so that is what we grew up with even though we are in the US - I guess it was from our British heritage!! My sister and I taught our kids to spell it this way as well - and one of my niece's teachers in elementary school told her she was 'wrong' in spelling it that way !!!! My sister straightened her out (!)
