This card is for today's challenge. Try something you have never done before., WT426. This is it, I have never used a printed page, in any form for a card before, so this is what I ended up with. All of my cs, and dp, is from my local craft shop. I printed a page out of my Bible for the print. Then I stamped my Anita's rose, and colored it with water color pencils, in red orange, and gold, and yellow. I traced over the bg dp with green, and orange pencils, just to brighten the colors. I added a few crystal gems, for sparkle, along with a peach satin bow to finish. tfl.

Those crystal gems are amazing. Your local craft shop seems to be a lot better stocked than they are over here . I'm interested that Anita's is a brand you can buy there.

Very pretty! Your coloring is great and I love the sparkly gems..they look like the dew dripping from fresh picked flowers. And your printed page is wonderful..I really like the look of print as backgrounds...I bet you'll do this technique again!

Lovely idea to use a photocopy of a page from your Bible to use on this lovely card. Pretty colors and the roses are so beautifully done. The dripping dew drops are a neat touch.

Once you use printed bg's, you'll use them again and again. I like to stamp directly on them too! well done!

Great card. Another fave. I love the yellow/orange roses & the gemstone drops coming off of them. Great use of the Bible page in the background & love the peach ribbon. TFS
