Our challenge today was to try something completely new - for me it is Mixed Media, which my friend Janelle, (jancush on SCS) gave me a lesson on recently. This is made from one of those canvas boards you can buy at craft stores which Janelle so kindly shared with me. It is brushed with ModPodge, layered with a piece of dsp that has been sponged on the edges. More ModPodge then added the photo (taken by Janelle's daughter for a photog class - also shared with me!). The sunflower was stamped on the photo with black Stazon and the center sponged with a bit of ink. Then more ModPodge over all. This is one of those canvases that you can address the back of and stick in the mail for someone : )

Wow, this is so cool! I've never attempted to do something like this. Yours turned out beautifully!
