We were to create something new and different from our norm. Since I don't do a lot of flowers as the main image on my cards (I tend toward people or more detailed images)..I went with some bold flowers. The bg is a gelli print which I then stamped a flower in several distress ink colors (festive berries, worn lipstick, spiced marmalade). I embossed them with iridescent ep. I used a new paint for the edges and centers..it's called Inka gold, a metal gloss paint which you apply with your fingers. Liquid pearls dot the centers. The sentiment(Paperbag Studios) is stamped over some sponged distress inks.

This is so pretty! I love the "messy" look of the flowers on the gelli print bg. Colour explosion!! The sentiment panel looks pretty too, with the white painted border.

Fabulous card for the challenge, Polly. Of course, I love your Gelli bg and the flowers are so pretty stamped on it. (We are polar opposites when it comes to stamped image preferences..: ) ) This is a delightful, bright and happy card.

Polly, this is sooooooo cool. I have got to get one of those Gelli Plates Your bg and flower images are amazing, and I love the centers. Terrific card.
