I wanted to do something different so I picked a tri-fold card to see if I could line up the images so all the images would be seen from the front. I always keep flowers pre cut and or punched in baggies for just such an occasion or for quick cards when needed.
The basic shapes of the young girl making a wish on a star are mirrored on the third panels, front and back. Wanted the young girl wishing to show through the trellis. Added the granter of her wish, a fairy in the middle inside panel.
Stamped flower swirls from Inkadinkado in the inside of the card and added coloring with gel pens. Layered the flowers to have depth in a couple of shades of purples and yellows. Added pearl adhesives to all the flowers and the center of the top trellis. Used a forest green CS by Bazzill for the leaves and swirls.
Besides the mirror images of the girl I also used the inside images of the larger flowers for the inside left panel.
Used another piece of Recollections, "Marble Swirl" to the background of the fairy.
I had way to much fun on this card!!
Again love the challenge and summer's blossoms
