I am LOVING the new SU Pressure Clay that you will be able to order after May 31st from the new SU 2013-14 Annual Catalog.
I free formed the white clay into a vase and stamped with the leaves from the "Just Believe" stamp set that will be retiring on June 3rd. I also used a stamp inside the card from the set. It is one of my all time favorite sets.
I found the SU silicone mat is great for free forming clay images. Just let it dry for awhile or put in freezer for about a half hour and then it pops right off so you can set the image aside to dry overnight. The finished image will actually bend and feel a little rubbery...Not breakable like clay.
I then colored the clay after drying (can do before it dries) with my Pear Pizzazz marker. I am thrilled about all the old In Colors coming back for a "Color Fresh" look! Attach clay images with sticky strip.
I sponged the bg with Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral inks.
The cute daisies were a gift from my very good friend and extremely talented stamper "Loll Thompson" :-)
The stems and leaves were made using Certainly Celery 1/8" taffeta (ret).
I did attach my 2 7/8" x 5 7/8" W White front to a heavier 6" x 6" scored PTI Premium White CS because of the bulky clay and flowers and mailed in a padded envelope to a very special friend.

Oh wow, Nancy! That multicolored sponged bg goes perfectly with your pretty vase and Loll candy flowers. Your sentiment is just the right finishing touch.

Double WOW! I have long admired Birgit's clay vases, accessories on her cards--now I can admire yours! I'm afraid I am coveting here: Loll's daisies, the new SU clay, and your talent. Wonderful multi-colored background, and love the inspired use of the ribbon for the stems and leaves. This card is frame-worthy.
