For this week's technique challenge: make your own chevron strips. Eh. I have the chevron dies and ef-- SO much faster and convenient! However, I used the score/fold/clip trick and produced the three strips in the bg. To obscure the score lines, I ran the whole panel through the cuttlebug, embossing over a scrap of burlap.
I used the last April viva la verve sketch for the layout.

I have the chevron die too, but found this technique fun, and it gave some depth and texture that the die doesn't. Love that layout, Brenda.

Good for you Brenda! Those score lines kind of bothered me too, but I didn't think of minimizing them the way you did. Such pretty papers on this lovely card.
