Torn card, chalks and watercolour pencils - swooshed back and forth across the card scrap with finger tips and cotton buds! The flipflops are from a free dingbat font printed onto striped paper and the seagulls are just folded white card scrap cut into a "u" shape then opened up so both wings are equal size. Great inspirations - thanks. This card is a longoverdue one for the district home visiting nurses who looked after DH for so many months while he was ill. (They are based in a seaside village about 40 mins drive away.)

Wow! This sunrise is absolutely gorgeous! I can see there are more early risers than just me. I love how you coloured this beautiful scene and I love the addition of the white seagulls.

This is a lovely scene! You colored it beautifully, and the torn paper is perfect with the waves!

This is just beautiful! Thanks for sharing your "recipe", but I have a feeling mine wouldn't turn out nearly this pretty! I'm sure the nurses will love this card.
