Simple Gatefold Birthday - CreativeCrew

Made this card for the CreativeCrew challenge for May!

This is a birthday card for my nephew. I wanted to make it quite simple but add something fun!

The gatefold card is so super easy to make. It's the same size as a regular card, you just fold both ends into the middle. I embossed the zigzags on one side and left the other side plain.

I used varying shades of blue. There is a pastel and a bright in there! I used a bit of SAB patterned paper and some of the pattern pack DSP.

I pierced around the oval and added a brad!

Very clever to emboss one side and leave the other bare. Really draws the eye to the card layout. Great job!
