Wow! How time flies! It has been over a year and a half since I actually took the time to photograph and upload a card to my gallery! Between our daughter's wedding and doing the "snowbird thing" for the last two winters the months have just flown by. I've spent the last week totally reorganizing my "Rubber Room" and I'm now trying to get creating.
One of the weekly challenges I've always enjoyed here at SCS is the "Queen for the Day" challenge so I decided that's where I'd go to seek inspiration for a card to add to my neglected gallery. Who better to go to for inspiration than this week's QFTD, Jeanne S! As I bopped about rather randomly through Jeanne's humungous gallery, I spied her Swell News card and knew immediately that I had to create a card for my daughter.
We learned at Christmastime that our daughter and her husband were expecting - and then in January we learned that they are having TWINS!!! So excited!
Now, I love playing with my punches and after a quick search on Pinterest I found a tutorial by Bonnie Mountford. Punched away to my heart's content and this card is the result. Had to stamp the sentiment twice in honour of the two little ones we are anticipating.
Thanks for stopping by! It's good to be back!

Wow! Twins!! It has been an eventful year and a half for you. Nice that you can bounce around creative ideas again in the rubber room We started building our retirement house last July and moved in the third week of Feb. My rubber room is not yet operational. Love your adorable punch art welcome with the double sentiment.

A true Punchkateer! Darling card made from punches - ingenious for sure. We have missed you girl! I totally know how a wedding can suck your spare time (mentally as you feel guilt because you aren't working on the wedding and physically). Cute card. Hugz!

Izzy, this is just the cutest punch art! Oh, those twins are going to be the light of your life. Spoil away as soon as they arrive. :-) So good to see you make and upload a card again. You've had a long, dry spell as you were busy being a 'snowbird'. Looking forward to more super creations from you.
