I am not brave enough to enter a Mixed Media challenge just yet, I seem to get more products on me than on my cards. For this card and matching gift tag, I took a leftover piece of chipboard and applied Tim Holtz Distress inks (about every color ever made), then I applied some glimmer mist. I then cut the strip of chipboard into 2 tags, nipped the corners and punched a hole at the top.
At this point it occured to me that I should have embossed it first, ah well I will know for next time. I reinked the tags again, spritzed a bit of water on, glimmer misted again. To assemble the tags I tore pages from an old book, inked it and stuck down with an excessive amount of pva glue and also spread some on the chipboard (hard to see in photo), but it has a great glossy look in places.
I stamped little girl and word 'blossom", gently inked her cheeks. Rolled some flowers and added spidery sort of ribbon. The lace was stark white, so i dunked it in my coffee, gave it a quick rinse and blowdry.
The brad at the top of the gift tag holds another little tag that you actually remove to write on. TFL
