 | | This is my card for my second brave try on this Mix-A-Bility challenge. This one I did alone. Yay for me. My background is a piece of Recollections cardstock. I put purple brads in the center of the black flowers on the CS.
For my flower, I used a coffee filter. This is my second try. The first is in the trash. I cut around the coffee filter to make it smaller. Then I punched 8" holes all around the edge to thread some embroidery floss. Next I sprayed the filter with watered down reinker and dried it with a heat tool.
So far so good. I threaded it and made a sort of yoyo. I love yoyos so this came to mind immediately when I saw the challenge. It doesn't look like a pretty sewn flower but I guess it can be a pressed flower. I attached it with a large brad - RAK from Celisa - and added Star Dust Stickles. If this is a test, I'm hoping for a passing grade.  |
