Here's my card to honor Ellen. I chose this card as my inspiration. Watercolor Beach Scene by ebparker at Splitcoaststampers I used my new ornate hanging sign by sizzix. I added sky, water and sand with daubers and ripped paper. Then I used gumball green and the grass from love & sympathy SU for the grass. The gold from Ellen's card was put on the ornate holder of the sign. I heat embossed gold embossing powder. I should have stamped in navy or black so the saying would stand out more and be easier to read. It says, Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and i will give you rest. I thought this was the perfect, peaceful scene for that verse. I put the embossing folder through the cuttlebug several times and moved it around to give more water swirls and some that were softer. Congrats Ellen, and enjoy your week as featured stamper!
