This is one of my cards for this month's Beautiful World Tour by Flourishes. Each team member took inspiration from their childhood, and the entries are beautiful as always! I used a childhood family photo as inspiration, from when my family was in Indonesia, so if you want to see what I looked like when I was 4, take a peek at my blog!
I created a 'faux batik' panel... first I covered Neenah cardstock with blue acrylic paint, then scrunched plastic wrap over the panel - when it was mostly tacky but not quite dry, I pulled the plastic off. The Poppy Patch stamps were lined up on a long narrow acrylic block, and I brayered them with acrylic paint to stamp them over the panel, then brayered paint on a piece of plastic canvas and stamped that as well.
