I am sooooooooooooo honored to be a sampler for Janette's sketch challenge this week; and what a wonderful sketch it is too! I decided to use the emboss resist technique for my dandelion. I stamped it in Enchanted Gold emboss powder and then lightly sponged So Saffron ink on and around it. Cut two strips of old olive cs and mounted my new Memory Box Tessatina Border Die on top. Isn't that die just gorgeous?? First time I used it too. Placed those strips on top of old SU dp Haiku. Placed my So Saffron taffeta ribbon between my two strips and added a little very vanilla taffeta to the bow for some contrast. Matted my dandelion on SB Fancy Floral oval and added some pearls and then popped that oval up for dimension. First time I've used the emboss resist technique with an embossing powder that was not white or black. The picture does not show it so well, but the embossing powder has a little sparkle in it, so it shows up really well in real life. Thanks Janette for a fun time sampling for you, and thanks for looking!
