I have a dear niece who is turning 16 this month, and I wanted to make her a card for this special birthday. I've been wanting to CASE this darling card by Teresa Kline (va.sunshine) for months, and thought it would be perfect for this occasion: Never Ever Give Up by va.sunshine at Splitcoaststampers
The back panel is clear-embossed with the Music Collage bg from Hero Arts, which I chose since my niece has some musical talent. I sponged over the embossing with various shades of pink. I adhered a doily at the bottom, then made a banner with whisper white and crumb cake for the sentiment. I made a heart by tracing the shape by hand onto some glossy white lightweight cardboard I saved from some box a while ago, and embossed it with my Divine Swirls ef. I gave the cardboard a quick misting before embossing it to help prevent tearing. I made a bow with some pink ribbon, twine, and added a mother-of-pearl button on top. The whole lot is mounted on a crumb cake card base.
Thanks for the inspiration, Teresa!

This card is absolutely gorgeous!! Your sponging brought a perfect mix of pinks to brighten everything against the Kraft card stock and is a nice contrast to the white heart and lighter pink ribbon. The twine bows really finish it off perfectly!
