I just can't help it - when people set a Spring challenge I instantly think of spring cards! So for the current ODBD Spring has Sprung challenge, I made a spring card in spring colours.
It's still winter here - snow, floods, rain, grey skies. I've seen a few daffodils, and the little yellow flowers on the base are a stand in for the celandine that's just coming out (wrong leaves, I know!!), but the weather hasn't been good enough for me to head to the park and see my favourite little blue scillia popping up. Spring Card base cut from green Bazzill. I used the largest Lacy Square on top of it, cut from white card and sponged with Squeezed Lemonade. Be Joyful flower stamped on white card and coloured with pencils.I sponged the edges with Bundled Sage and added a tiny punched butterfly with a Stickles trail, and a sentiment also from be Joyful. Leaves on the base are from Randi's Song, stamped with Forest Moss and sponged with Bundled Sage. Flowers punched with a daisy punch, sponged with Squeezed Lemonade. Centres are vellum punched with a stamen punch, and some Stickles.
