I've been into making black and white cards lately. As much as I love color, I love the cleanness of the opposites. For this card I am using some of my newest dies, the Falana Circle, Fancy Blossoms (which I love), and the wonderful silhouette. Though here I have used both the negative and positive for stenciling. There is some Versa Mark stamping and embossing with clear ep and dry embossing with an ef. All kinds of things going on on this card. The bow is cut from black vellum, which I've been hording for a long time. The panel with the silhouette is on dimensional adhesives.
A first for me, I'm entering this into the Joan's Garden challenge. Wish me luck!

Oh Jennifer, this takes me back to when I was a little girl. All the ladies of the church wore fancy hats on Easter Sunday. It was a BIG deal back then! I am just LOVING all your amazing details! First, your new die cut is so pretty and I love that it looks made to go with your beautiful lace! Next, those teeny, tiny pearls for the necklace and earring are incredible!!! WOW! You placed them perfectly!!! Finally LOVE that you list DH for his opinion!!! LOL That is awesome!!! It is all fantastic!!! Truly fabulous card, I have a feeling you won't need any "luck" at all!!!

Love the techniques you shared for this very different (and so pretty) card. I can see the versamark work, and boy! is it pretty on this card. Thanks for the inspiration and the wonderful ideas you shared, Jennifer.
