I was looking at a St. Patrick's hand towel and noted that it had an interesting Leprechaun hat on it. So I took a green piece of 8.50x11 in. cs, measured it in half, scored it and folded it to 8.50x5.50. On another piece of cs I sketched out a Leprechaun hat to my liking, making sure the height did not exceed 5.50 in. After cutting it out, I lined up the top of the hat with the fold on the green cs , taped it down and cut it out. The band of the hat was done with green cs and brayered with a darker green ink to give it a deeper green color. The
buckle was cut out with square nesties using yellow cardstock. Galaxy gold pigment ink to give it a metallic look and a couple of coats of glossy accents for shine. The pin was created by stamping out the phrase in evergreen pigment ink and embossing that. Cut out with Nesties and glossy accents for shine. Then added the shamrock. TFL.
