The colors this week are reminiscent of spring..they'd be perfect for a spring bouquet or garden. My vision for these colors took me to this lady on the couch (don't ask how my mind works...). I love this stamp and I wanted to make a some sort of frame for this relaxing woman. The green is a negative portion of a scalloped oval. The yellow fleur de lis rectangle is actually two that I had to cut and combine to make a bigger one to fit a 5x7 card. I added the dessert this week of a "critter"....mine being a faithful dog companion. I hope you like "all the drama"

Well, is the woman exhausted from "all of that drama"?? We seem to have a lot of that going around lately. I like the scene of her on the couch with her faithful friend right there with her. Cute card Polly!!

LOL LOVE your sentiment Pol! Looks like your lady of leisure is "over" what ever drama there was! She has me wondering what kind of tea she is sipping on! What a fantastic mix of patterns and die cuts!!! Love that you use the negative of the scalloped oval and combined 2 of your gorgeous fluer di lis rectangle die cuts! Fabulous card!!!

This makes me chuckle! I'm wondering what the 'dramatic' story is behind whatever's on her head? I should find that sentiment stamp- would be perfect to send to my sister, who always has some interesting work drama to tell me about. Clever to combine two of the fleur de lis diecuts to make the size you wanted!

Oh, the drama of it all, Polly. You have framed this diva perfectly and I love how you expertly pieced the frame to make it fit your image. Great critter too !
