I made this pretty pink gift box and stuffed it so full of goodies I needed something to keep it together. I decided to make a "belt" to keep the box top and bottom together so I cut 2 strips of 1.25x12" pieces of white cs, adhered them together and punched both long ends. I determined how much of this strip I needed by centering it over the box, scoring the white strip as it went around the sides, and trimming off the excess. At one time homemade paper roses were all the rage and I made quite a few of them using a punch bunch flower punch. I dug one of these roses out of my stash and adhered it to one side of the stirp belt with a glue dot. I cut a 1/2" round velcro fastener in half, attached one half to the bottom of the rose and the other half to the free end of the strip belt so the "belt" opens and closes where the rose is attached.
