Monday is always a busy day for me, but since I had to come up to the attic to fetch the vacuum cleaner before I could get on with the housework, I gave myself licence to make a quick card for Joan's "Ombre" TLC challenge.
Spring it is NOT here today - it's been snowing on and off ever since I got up, but there are some brave daffodils out here and there.
5 3/4" square base.
MFT chevron die-namics cut from white card and sponged with squeezed lemon, mustard seed, wild honey, shabby shutters, peeled paint, forest moss and mowed lawn. Penny Black daffodil inked with markers, misted and stamped on white card. Layered on Bazzill, popped up on foam. I made two little faux brads - but in the end I decided not to add Glossy Accents but just leave them as they were.

What a lovely design Sabrina! Your ombre sponging and the BG effect you created are delightful. I love that Penny Black series with the misted technique...beautifully done all around!
