The Twisted Sistah challenge today is to make a sympathy card. It's better to make it before you need it and don't feel like making it, right?
I haven't put a card in the gallery for over a week. I spent a few hours trying "fancy" techniques. I must have been chewing gum at the same time because, I metaphorically fell down! I couldn't even save any of my attempts!
So, this is also for last week's MIX5. It should have been easy - masking. Due to the above troubles - I did the easy mask this time around. I masked the edges of this die and used making for the clouds.
If I disappear again - well, let's just say I probably had a "making gesso" debacle!
Happy Friday All!

Brat, struggles are what make life interesting! This is awesome. I usually try to stay away from "bows" on a sympathy card; somehow they usually seem too foo foo or something. However, this design absolutely lent itself to the need for that precious little bow in the corner. Well done!

LOL Terri!!Such a lovely card! I know just what you mean about not wanting to make a sympathy card just when you need to do so. And bravo to you, making your own gesso!!! Great job!

Those silhouetted flowers against an overcast sky make a beautiful sympathy card - not an easy task - and the Thinking of You sentiment will surely bring comfort - this is really touching with the single butterfly next to your bow!
